Shane Bangerter
For nearly fourteen years, Shane's practice has emphasized
worker compensation,
employment law, and personal
injury.
Shane has represented companies and workers on
worker compensation issues, arguing cases before the Workers Compensation Board of Review, the Kansas Court of Appeals and the Kansas Supreme Court.
Shane has argued nearly 2,000
worker compensation cases to administrative law judges across the state and over 70 appellant cases to the
Workers Compensation Board of Review, a number matched by very few attorneys. His cases have made new law in Kansas regarding such work issues like determining accident dates; issues regarding employee termination for cause and whether a work disability should be granted; consideration of overtime when determining qualification for work disabilities; and the impact of a person's legal status on work benefits.
These efforts have earned him recognition from his peers in
The Best Lawyers in America
as an outstanding worker compensation law attorney.
Shane is a partner with the firm.
