Southwest Bar Association's Annual Meeting

This year's annual Southwest Bar Association meeting offered lively educational topics for the over 100 attorneys in attendance.

A highlight of the day-long session was a Kansas Supreme Court Justices' Panel on Appellate Advocacy featuring Justice Carol Beier, Justice Robert L. Gernon, Justice Marla J. Luckert and Justice Lawton Nuss.

Moderator was District Court Judge Robert Schmisseur from Pratt, Kansas.

As part of their continuing education, the attorneys heard about updates on Federal Court electronic filing from featured luncheon speaker, Judge John Lungstrum, Chief U.S. District Judge for the State of Kansas.
